The Patrol Boat that we have built for the Syrian Government, Ports Department has been designed for patrol and pursuit operations aimed at all types of supervision, control and rescue at sea (or first aid) purposes at the port and cabotage areas. The boat is manufactured out of a special light aluminum alloy, which allows uninterrupted service in shallow waters and high seas with its high maneuverability, acceleration, sudden stopping and seaworthiness properties, even in sea conditions of Beaufort 8 (included) thanks to her deep “V” formed hull with dual keel lines.

The ceremony held at the Chamber of Shipping was attended by MR. Safwan Ghanem, Syrian Consul; Hon. Yaşar Duran AYTAŞ, Shipyards General Manager; Hon Cemalettin ŞEVLİ, Istanbul Regional Manager, an official committee from Syria, the Maritime Community and members of the press.

Following the ceremony, a Bosporus tour was made with our esteemed guests.

The boats will depart under their own power by sea for delivery to Syria in the 2nd week of November.
