Between 1988 and 1998, Düzgit constructed 20 various size service boats mainly for its own use by renting some shipyards at Tuzla region -today the largest ship construction area of Türkiye. In addition to this, all the annual maintenance and ordinary repairs for these boats under the management have been carried out by the in-house personnel since its establishment back in 1966. The experience made and business contacts gained during this time together with the fully closed shipyard built and owned by the group itself, laid up the foundations for Düzgit Gemi İnşa San. ve Tic. Kol. Şti. at the end of 1997.
