 Our company history dates back as far as 1966 to the establishment of a local ship agency office in Büyükdere Bay of İstanbul by Mr. Salim Düzgit.
Today, activities within Düzgit range from shipping agency to duty free & shipstore and from ship building to sales of marine lubricants.
Although the Group is still controlled by the Düzgit family with more than 250 employees working under nine companies in eight different offices and at sea Düzgit preserves its attitude in business and speed in growth.

The trial voyage of the chemical tanker named M/T “DÜZGİT HARMONY” with a capacity of 3150 dwt, which was built by the company Düzgit Shipbuilding Industry Co., Inc. was completed successfully between May 12-14, 2009. Following the completion of the final works, the vessel will be operated by DS TANKER, one of the Group companies in June, 2009.

Düzgit Shipbuilding and Düzgit Yalova Shipyard participated in the Tuyap International IDEF 09 Defense Industries Fair that was organized at Bahçeşehir, Istanbul between 27.04.2009 and 30.04.2009. During the show, the company was introduced to the domestic and foreign state and civilian authorities and verious discussions were made.
